Adriana's Mom - Karis Rapier

Karis Rapier was raised by her mother who used to be a foreign assassin for the Guild and step father who was a native farmer (he didn't know about his wife's assassin past) in a planet of strong women. She also has a younger half bother who has a more mature and responsible personality than her, since she used to be a party girl and he tends to bail her out of trouble. She did settle down with a guy she meet while hunting dangerous for the Guild. Karis at first was not physically attracted to him since she thought he was a nerd, but she was getting attached to him after all those times they save each others life during those hunting trips. A year passed by and she said "wanna get hitched and be my husband". He was surprised that a beautiful woman would say that to him and said "yes". After their honeymoon, Karis got pregnant. She wanted to be stay in home housewife since she is having a child, even asked her bother's holstaur wife for help when it comes to house work and raising kids. Adriana was born. Years passed, While Adriana's father taught her Extracurricular activities (reading comics), Karis secretly taught her daugter how to use swords (wooden ones at a young age, real ones at her teens). When Adriana was in her teens, her father died during a hunting trip. Both Karis and Adriana were devastated when they heard of it and they had to get jobs to support each other. Adriana helped out at her uncle's farm and Karis puts on her leather leotard once again to do Guild jobs. When Adriana became an adult, she wanted to do Guild hunting jobs just like her father. Karis didn't want her daughter to end up like her father, so she challenged her to a duel. "Let's see if I taught you well. If you win you can go work for the Guild, but lose you will stay" "who ever bleeds, loses" Karis pulling out her two swords. Adriana silently accepts the challenge by drawing her swords. Both fighting their hardest. Karis was the most graceful, but Adriana was the strongest. Adriana barely scratches Karis face while one drop of blood spills touching Adriana's blade. "you win" Karis saying while catching her breath. "Did you let me win mother?" Adriana with a shocked face. "hell no, you were very strong. All that native blood flowing thru you. Women in this planet tend to be hard to handle" Karis laughing. "Thank you mother, I will make you proud" Adriana hugging her mom. "be careful" Karis tearing up. "I will" Adriana smiling while she walks off for her first Guild job.
